Week of October 5, 2008

10-3-08 — We went to the Ranch Rodeo and I wore my earmuffs.	Then I got tired of them and just dealt with the noise.
I participated in my first calf scramble!	I didn't catch one. I was really mad. There were only 3 winners.
I kept chasing them after they told us to stop. I didn't understand.	The cowboys milked wild cows. It was crazy!
This is why I wore earmuffs. The U.S. Cavalry was there!	They had really loud guns that they popped balloons with.
My friend Emily was there too. We had fun!	Just a couple of monkeys on the fence.
10-4-08 — There were walking mailboxes in the Fair Parade!	And a post office on wheels.
And a huge mailbox on wheels!	H-E-Buddy was there in a giant grocery cart.
My pal Derek drove the GVEC truck. (They're our electric co-op.)	Kristi and Dylan (& Kaitlyn) rode with him too.
10-5-08 — Sunday my school sang in church. I sang for a while.	But I'm tired of those songs so I quit singing halfway through.
After the singing was over we went to the park.	Ian and his parents came too, but Mama didn't get their picture.
I love to swing, but sometimes I get nervous.	Mama doesn't swing me too high.
