8-6-09 — Last day of swimming lessons. It was play day!

The teachers helped us play basketball.


They let us do whatever we wanted, so I got diving sticks ...

... and spent the rest of the time under water!


I do love to be under water.

8-8-09 — Mama and DeeDee and I went to Moody Gardens!


They had a cool animatronic dinosaur exhibit going on.

I even got to make this one move!


I practiced being a paleontologist.

I found a big ol' fossilized skeleton!


We went to the cemetery where my great- and great-great-grandparents are buried. We said hi to them and then ...

We fed the ducks! Mama and DeeDee said they used to feed the ducks there when they were kids too.


There were tons of ducks.

And they were very friendly. This one kept begging for food.
